Il y a quelques temps un jeune artiste m'a demandé de lui faire un Ep, qui, comme il était très nostalgique des sons des 2005/2010, devrait vraiment rappeler cette époque. Je me suis plongé dans mes dossiers de l'époque et j'ai exhumé une collection de samples et boucles que j'avais bien poncé au milieu des 2000. C'est de là qu'est né l'idée de (re)faire un album uniquement à partir de boucles, comme à l'époque... Back To Basics !!!
J'espère que vous prendrez plaisir à ces petite ritournelles, à la saveur de madeleines de Proust.

Some time ago a young artist asked me to make him an Ep, which, as he was very nostalgic for the sounds of 2005/2010, should really remind us of that time. I immersed myself in my files from that time and I unearthed a collection of samples and loops that I had sanded well in the middle of the 2000s. This is where the idea to (re) make an album only from loops was born , like at that time ... Back To Basics !!!
I hope you will enjoy these little ritornelles, wich, for some, should have the flavor of Proust madeleines.
